Summer Smooches!

During the month of April you can get your very own Summer Smooches! The colors are so vibrant and fun, how can you not love them?! Below are a couple of 3x3 thank you cards as well as a couple birthday cards, all featuring the new Summer Smooches!

Dora the Explorer!

A friend of ours has a little girl who just turned 3 and she loves Dora the Explorer! I finally was able to create Dora thank you to Marie Shaughnessy's blog! Keep in mind, this was my first attempt at creating Dora so it isn't perfect!

Punch Art Easter Bunny

I LOVE punch art!! This little guy turned out so cute!! (Supply list is below)

Here is a list of supplies that I used to create this card:
Cardstock:
Pear Pizzazz from the 2010 In Color collection
Blushing Bride from the 2010 In Color collection
Crumb Cake
Whisper White
Basic Black (eyes)
Ink:
Chocolate Chip (sponging and sentiment)
UniBall Signo Gel Pen- White (eyes)
Stamp Sets:
Delightful Dozen
Punches and Dies:
Hearts Framelits Die (face and feet)
Circles #2 Die (body)
Scalloped Oval Punch (tail)
Blossom Builder Punch (ears)
Owl Builder Punch (nose and eyes)
Decorative Label Punch (inside card)
Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder
Ribbon:
1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon in Chocolate Chip (retired, however Early Espresso would look great too!)

Petite Pennants

These two birthday cards were made using the Pennant Parade stamp set along with the coordinating Petite Pennants Builder Punch and the 2011 In Color card stock. You get more for your money with this stamp set... not only can you make pennants, but you can also make a Christmas Tree and an ice cream cone!! :)

Stampin' Up! does such a great job with making punches that coordinate perfectly with stamp sets!

Triple Treat Flower

Here is a clean and simple (CAS) card that I made as a make and take! It features the Triple Treat Flower stamp. One thing I love about this stamp is its versatility.. you can do a layered look like I've done here or you can leave it as one layer, either way it's fantastic! I absolutely love the color combination of Basic Grey, Pool Party, and Crumb Cake! I'll work on my photo taking abilities! Thanks for looking! :)

Must give credit where credit is due! This card is a CASE (Copy and Share Everything) from a fellow stamper, Kay Kalthoff. Her photo is much better than mine and she included some of our Silver Glimmer Paper which I did not use on my card. See her card, here.

A Little About Me...

My name is Bri, I'm 20 something and live in San Antonio, Texas with my hubby, Brandon and our 3 furry children! Of coarse, by furry children I do mean our dogs... Jo, Rusty, and Harlee. Jo is an almost 6 year old yellow lab, Rusty is a 2 year old lab/hound mix, and Harlee is an 8 month old yorkie!

 Me and the hubby:

We just moved to San Antonio at the beginning of February, and so far we absolutely love it here! We are both originally from Topeka, Kansas which is also where our families are. We lived in Tulsa, Oklahoma for a year while Brandon went back to school. Once he graduated, he got a job in San Antonio so we packed up and moved again! (I'm becoming a pro at packing!) The toughest thing about the move is being so far away from our friends and family.. thankfully someone out there created Skype!! :)

While I have a full-time job, I am also a Stampin' Up! demonstrator. I love that my "job" is to stamp and paper craft, even if it is only part-time! Not very many people get to do something they love and make a little extra $$ doing so! If you want to learn more about what I do please feel free to contact me!

Well, that's a tiny bit about me... stay tuned for more posts!!
