Betsy's Blossoms

Betsy's Blossoms is a new stamp set in the 2012-2013 Catalog, and it has been one of my favorites so far! Below are two cards that I created with this set.

This first card features the new Floral District Designer Series Paper which I love because it is just so fresh and coordinates perfectly with Betsy's Blossoms! I used our newly reconfigured Firm Foam Classic Stampin' Pads in Baja Breeze and Daffodil Delight.. they are fantastic, leaving a crisp fully inked image each time! This card is a CASE from Vicki Burdick.

This next card is a CASE from Mary Fish. It also features Betsy's Blossoms:

Summer Smooches Treat Bag

I recently had a workshop and this is one of the projects that we made. This project idea came from my upline, Lisa Cool!
Pinwheels are very trendy this summer so I showcased this pinwheel in the Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper!
This little bag and box perfectly holds 2 Ghirardelli chocolate squares.. if you can stand to not eat them!! :)

So here is what you'll need to create this cute little gift:
Island Indigo cardstock
Real Red cardstock
Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper
Daffodil Delight cardstock (for the center of the pinwheel)
1/8" Silver Mini Brads
Daffodil Delight 1/4" Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon
Linen Thread
Modern Label Punch
The stick used for the pinwheel is a sucker stick, Stampin' Up! does not sell this item but you can find them at Wal-Mart or your local hobby store.

It's a Bird, It's a Plane... It's Buzz LightBear!!

My cousin's son is turning 3 and is having a Toy Story themed birthday party so I thought it was appropriate to create Buzz LightBear!! :)

The Bear die that I used is unfortunately discontinued but he was just too perfect to not use! My inspiration came from a fellow stamper, Jana Yoder.

Happy 3rd Anniversary!!

Well, yesterday the hubby and I celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary!! 3 years has gone by so quick and we've lived in 3 different states within that time!! What a journey we've been on.. can't wait to see what else the future holds for us!!
We celebrated by going to dinner at Longhorn Steakhouse and we purchased tickets to go see Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan in October!! I can not wait for that... I'm a HUGE Luke Bryan fan!!! :)

This is the card that I made for Brandon. I used the Inspired by Nature stamp set which is sadly retired :( I used VersaMark along with white and brown embossing powder to emboss the grass image.

And here we are 3 years ago....

Wedding Bells are Ringing!

Wedding season is among us! The two cards below were created with the Pefect Polka Dots Embossing Folder, the Elegant Lines Embossing Folder, and the Designer Frames Embossing Folder. Also used was the Ovals Originals Die and 5/8" Satin Ribbon in Whisper White both items will be retiring May 31st, get yours before they're gone!

The first card features Pool Party cardstock and the Elements of Style Stamp Set for the sentiment. Great thing about this sentiment is that it can be used for Wedding, Bridal Shower or Anniversary!
The second card features Basic Black cardstock and the Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set for the sentiment. I love the classic, elegant look of both of these cards!

Cheerful Happy Birthday!!

I made this card for my best friend's birthday.. I utilized Cheerful Treat Designer Series Paper (DSP) and the Happiest Birthday Wishes stamp set, both items were part of the Hostess section of the catalog but now you can order them on my website since they will be retiring May 31st!! Also used on this card was the Build-a-Blossom stamp set along with the coordinating Blossom Petals Punch (neither are retiring)!

If you want to learn how to make this card, contact me, I'd love to teach you how!!

"Boyish" Simple Thank You

Hubby had a birthday back in April... the big 2-9! This is a simple thank you card that I put together for him to send out, the best thing about this card is that it was so easy to make multiples!

This card is 4"x4" in size, I used Basic Grey, Whisper White, Tangerine Tango, Pacific Point, Old Olive, and Daffodil Delight cardstock. The circles were made using the Circles #2 Originals die and the smallest circles were made with the Owl Builder Punch. The orange label was made using the Decorative Label Punch... only I punched it twice to make it smaller. Want to learn how? Check out this video tutorial. The sentiment came from the Just Believe stamp set. Lastly, I also used the Square Lattice embossing folder after I glued down my circles, this gives it the effect of being one piece of cardstock!

Triple Treat Flower

Here is a clean and simple (CAS) card that I made as a make and take! It features the Triple Treat Flower stamp. One thing I love about this stamp is its versatility.. you can do a layered look like I've done here or you can leave it as one layer, either way it's fantastic! I absolutely love the color combination of Basic Grey, Pool Party, and Crumb Cake! I'll work on my photo taking abilities! Thanks for looking! :)

Must give credit where credit is due! This card is a CASE (Copy and Share Everything) from a fellow stamper, Kay Kalthoff. Her photo is much better than mine and she included some of our Silver Glimmer Paper which I did not use on my card. See her card, here.

A Little About Me...

My name is Bri, I'm 20 something and live in San Antonio, Texas with my hubby, Brandon and our 3 furry children! Of coarse, by furry children I do mean our dogs... Jo, Rusty, and Harlee. Jo is an almost 6 year old yellow lab, Rusty is a 2 year old lab/hound mix, and Harlee is an 8 month old yorkie!

Jo and Rusty:

Little Miss Harlee:
 Me and the hubby:

We just moved to San Antonio at the beginning of February, and so far we absolutely love it here! We are both originally from Topeka, Kansas which is also where our families are. We lived in Tulsa, Oklahoma for a year while Brandon went back to school. Once he graduated, he got a job in San Antonio so we packed up and moved again! (I'm becoming a pro at packing!) The toughest thing about the move is being so far away from our friends and family.. thankfully someone out there created Skype!! :)

While I have a full-time job, I am also a Stampin' Up! demonstrator. I love that my "job" is to stamp and paper craft, even if it is only part-time! Not very many people get to do something they love and make a little extra $$ doing so! If you want to learn more about what I do please feel free to contact me!

Well, that's a tiny bit about me... stay tuned for more posts!!
